We are approaching the Autumn Solstice (23 September) when the day and night are the same length. It marks the beginning of Autumn, moving from the warmth of Summer to colder Autumn days and longer nights. This mini retreat will echo this transition.
The first hour will be a vinyasa flow yoga class with plenty of sun salutations, building some heat to say goodbye to Summer. There will be lots of options available to accommodate different levels of experience and fitness. We will then enjoy some yummy twists to detox and forward folds to introduce the idea of closing down and hibernating as the colder weather arrives.
The second hour, we slow things down, cooling the body and slowing the nervous system with some yin postures then some restorative yoga for total relaxation and release.
We will finish with Yoga Nidra which is a yogic sleep. You are guided into a deep meditation which will leave you feeling rejuvenated!
Then it’s time for a cuppa and some cake.
Arrive any time from 9am for a 9.30 start.
Wear comfortable clothes, gym gear is ideal. There is plenty of parking spaces at The Barn.
